Taiwan Ven. Shi-De, whose real name is Zhu Xiu-Ying, born in Taiwan in 1956. a Buddhist nun from Taiwan, graduated from the National University of Arts in Taiwan. Her pursuit of spiritual liberation was well expressed in her art works — brush painting, calligraphy, and seal carving.
釋如撿,號拾得,原名朱琇嬰。1956年生於台灣,畢業於國立台灣藝術大學。為求生命真谛而出家修行,以筆墨探求人生解脫之路。

The World Zen Art Center (WZAC-NY) is a respected non-profit institution dedicated to the research and promotion of Zen art.
