Eleen Lin (other name, I-Ling Lin) the World Zen Art Center Chief Executive Dean, was born in Taiwan in 1982. She immigrated to Thailand when she was six years old, and currently lives in New York. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Slade School of Fine Art – University of London in 2005; studied in The Academy of Fine Art, Vienna in the SOCRATES program and graduated from Yale School of Art with a Master of Fine Arts – Painting in 2008. Her artwork blends a style of Eastern and Western Philosophies, using a romantic and colorful palettes. The unique approach exhibits a hybridity of the East and the West that is widely consumed in contemporary societies worldwide.
The World Zen Art Center (WZAC-NY) is a distinguished non-profit institution dedicated to the research and promotion of Zen art. Established in the State of New York on December 15, 2012, it operates under the esteemed guidance of Master Yi-Xiong Gu, a highly respected figure in this field. Our Mission is to explore the essence of Zen Tao and art, fostering their growth and flourishing both in the United States and globally. We aim to ensure that these cultural treasures are appreciated and preserved for future generations. Our Commitment is to advance the cultural significance of Zen art by promoting its development and prosperity.
